We’re Dane and Amanda, the husband-and-wife team behind SweetBoy Homes. With backgrounds in interior design, new construction, and custom carpentry. We live full-time in Nags Head with our two kids and are steadily growing a team that shares our commitment to quality workmanship and modern, livable design. Our story is simple: we love what we do, and we’ve built our life—and our business—around creating homes that reflect both craft and comfort

SweetBoy Homes owners' Amanda and Dane

“SweetBoy” was named after the nickname we’ve always called our son. We wanted a name that felt personal, memorable, and a little different — just like the way we approach our work. Our goal is to make design and construction feel more collaborative, approachable, and laidback while still delivering thoughtful, high-quality homes.
